Lively little market town of the Pont-l'Evêque canton with lots of typical half timbered houses, artists' workshops offering  many exhibitions.
You can discover a picturesque panorama on the Dives' valley up to the seaside.
Also, visit the St.Sauveur church of the 11th.century.The Prieuré built in 1060 was rebuilt in 1450, it was the ancient college of the monks of St-Maur.
Famous Beaumontais: the artists Edourd Krug 1829, the colonel Langlois 1789-1870, the mathematician Pierre-Simon de Laplace 1749-1827 who was also president of the Senate in 1806.
